If you’re an English teacher, living and and teaching English in Italy, whether as a bilingual or mother-tongue English teacher, you are welcome to join our teacher directory. However, before you get started, please take a little time to read this page first, to avoid problems later.
Registration requirements
It may sound obvious but this site exists to help promote freelance English teachers in Italy, so we only accept registration from teachers who are genuinely bilingual or native English speakers, living and working legally in Italy with a valid codice fiscale and residence. Registration is not open to teachers who represent or plan to promote a language school of any type.
Registration Process
To register as a teacher on Insegnanti-Inglese you need to complete the membership subscription form at the bottom of this page and pay the €20 subscription fee. Once payment has been received, an automated email is sent to you with your login details.
Once you are able to log in to the site, you can go to ‘My Account’ in the navigation menu to create your profile listing. The process is self-explanatory and there are simple notes to help you. If you have written your main profile description in advance, the whole process shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes.
If your teacher profile is completed properly it will usually be approved and published within a few hours, 24 hours at most. Every profile is manually checked prior to publication, so please read our guidelines now, before you get started! You can find them here: Profile Requirements
To sign up
1) Click the ‘Add to Order‘ button. This takes a few seconds to process, so be patient.
2) Complete the billing details in the form below.
3) Click ‘Continue‘ and the payment page will open.
Once you have paid, please check your email for your receipt and login details.
