Guida di Inglese Commerciale
Don’t be scared of Business English! The differences between normal general English and Business English are small; the style of language is generally a little more formal, and you need a slightly larger vocabulary. These pages contain a few simple guides to help you translate common phrases used in everyday Business English. The guides are all written in English, with some ranslations, because we assume that you have already reached at least an intermediate level and are comfortable reading English.
If you need to use English as a part of your job, you should aim to reach at least B2 level, which is the level of the Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE). Most of the teachers registered on Insegnanti Inglese will be used to helping students study towards this exam. There are also Business English exams that you can study towards, but the First Certificate is a good level to reach, and it includes excellent tuition on writing, speaking and grammar.
This guide will not replace lessons with a teacher, but we hope you find it helpful!
